Location
We are located at 12 First Street in Topsham, Unit 1 - enter under the portico in the front. See our Location Page for more info and map!
Parking
***ALL DANCE STUDIO PARKING IS BEHIND THE BUILDING***
No parking of any kind in the front lot - older students can still get dropped off via "drive through".
The town hall lot is available for overflow use, we strongly encourage using it!
We have neighbors - please be respectful of their space and time. Thanks!

Dress Code
The Moving Company maintains a dress code to encourage an optimal learning environment. Dancers must be in the proper dance wear, shoes, and have their hair secured to participate in class. You will receive a Dress Code document upon registration, or see Dress Code for full details at any time.
Arrival/Class/Dismissal
If arriving early to change/use the restroom/wait in the lobby, please do not arrive more than 15 minutes prior to your class time. Once your class is finished, please help out our parking flow by leaving as soon as you are able.
Please do not enter the classroom until your teacher has indicated they are ready for students.
Please keep the lobby a safe and respectful space - thank you!
Tardiness
Dance classes progress in a very specific order to ensure a safe, thorough warm up and to facilitate the best learning environment/process. Students who are more than 15 minutes late to may be asked to observe at the teacher’s discretion.
Food and Drink
Students in classes that last 45 minutes or longer should bring a water bottle.
Snacks may be eaten in the lobby before or after class only.

Class Placement
All class placement is at the discretion of the director.
Closures and Cancellations
Weather related cancellations are made as soon as possible based on forecast.
We notify of closures via email, the cancellation systems of WCSH6 & WGME13, and post the information on our social media pages.
In the event of a mandated shutdown or other unforeseen occurrence, we reserve the right to move our classes to an online platform as necessary.
Make Up Policy
Cancelled classes will be made up throughout the year as our schedule allows. We have reserved one week at the end of the fall semester and one week at the end of the spring semester to use for make up classes as needed. See schedule below. Make up days for student illness can be scheduled in a class of the same or lower level - contact the studio for more information.

At our studio, we expect all dancers to try their best, have fun, and show respect - to themselves, their classmates, and their teachers. We also encourage our dance families to help foster a positive, supportive environment by celebrating effort, promoting kindness, and partnering with us to help every dancer thrive. Together, we create a community where everyone feels valued and inspired to grow.

November 25 - 29: no regular classes (Thanksgiving break)
December 14 - December 19: class make up week as needed
December 20 - January 3 (Winter break)
January 4: classes resume
February 14 - February 21: no classes (school break)
April 18 - April 25: no classes (school break)
May 31: no classes (Memorial Day)
June 1 - 4: class make up week or extra classes as needed
June 7 - 12: SHOW WEEK
June 7 - 9: In Studio Rehearsals, all classes at Moco, schedule TBD
June 10 - 11: Stage rehearsals, Orion Performing Arts Center, schedule TBD
June 12: Year End Performance, 2:00 pm, Orion Performing Arts CenterTBA: Summer Dance 2027
