The Moving Company Dance Troupe is a performance group for dancers age 13-18.  Dancers must be enrolled in Modern 3 and have 1 year of dance experience prior to joining the Repertory class for Troupe.

In addition to their technique class, the dancers meet once a week for rehearsal. During that time they collaborate to create original works, learn and rehearse choreography and practice improvisational skills.

Created in 2015, the Troupe has performed at community events and local arts venues, put on an original performance of their work, and collaborated with other youth performance groups. The Troupe has performed at:

The Brunswick Outdoor Arts Festival, The Theater Project’s Wales and Tales, Thornton Academy's Fall Into Dance Showcase, Collective Motion Arts Center's annual Fall Into Art peformance, Casco Bay Mover’s Cabin Fever Show, Cottage Street Creative Exchange’s annual Gala, and Spark Dance’s The Art of Being Together, as well hosted their own full length evening benefit performances (She Walks in Beauty 2017, Gather Golden Moments 2022) and informal showing performances at the studio.
